Cloud Seat Tufted Sofa

Full hand-tufted seat and back. Slow to make, and it shows.

Design

Seat and back are tufted across the whole surface, so the sofa reads as a grid of soft squares. The padding sits higher than usual: you sink two or three centimetres, then it holds, and getting up takes no effort.

Materials and construction

The tufting is done by hand, more than two hundred points per sofa. Chenille cover, feather-blend seat cushions, and a fixed back so the tufts never shift out of line.

Care and delivery

Vacuum chenille with a soft brush head. Dab spot stains with a cloth and mild cleaner rather than rubbing, and turn the seat cushions every two weeks so the fill wears evenly. Use a crevice tool to clear dust from the tufting. Each piece is built to order and checked before it leaves the factory.
